Contour correction — injection procedure making it possible to correct age-related changes (for example, smooth wrinkles out, lift facial contours) and congenital features (create cheekbones, add missing volume in the chin and the lips, etc.)
In general, contour correction procedures are classified into two types:
- Botulinum toxin injections — a medicinal product smoothing lines and wrinkles due to muscle relaxation: on the forehead, around the eyes, between the eyebrows, fibre bands on the neck.
- Filler injections — replenishing age-related lack of facial volumes and filling lines and wrinkles, thus smoothing them out (for example, nasolabial folds). Some medicinal products also make it possible to achieve a facial tissue lifting effect by removing sagging “dewlaps” and the expression of a sad, tired face.
